Daily Story Engine

A Claude Code skill that turns one real moment from my day into a short personal story post, without inventing a single detail.

Claude Code

What it does

Small things happen to me every week that would make a better post than another how-to, and I never wrote them down. When I say “story time”, this skill asks what happened and shapes the answer into a post of 150 to 400 words.

How it works

It asks one question, then one or two follow-ups at most, like “what was in your hands?” It finds the turn, the point where the feeling or the thinking shifted. Then it picks one of 6 shapes that fits the moment and writes to my voice rules. After a check against those rules, I get the post, 3 alternative opening lines and one question: warmer, sharper or shorter?

One rule sits above the rest. It never invents people, scenes, dialogue or numbers. If a detail is missing, it asks for it. In weekly mode it goes through my notes and pulls out up to 8 moments worth writing about.
